Aspen Dental to host day of service for veterans

Dental care chain, Aspen Dental, will hold a day of service to provide free care to veterans on June 11. The event will be the organization’s eight annual event and include almost 500 dental offices. Veteran benefits do not typically include dental care unless they are fully disabled.

During the event, dental practices will provide access to no cost dental care to US military veterans as part of its Healthy Mouth Movement. Since the 2014 inception of the program, more than 30,000 veterans have received more than $23 million worth of dental care. Dental care includes extractions, denture repairs, hygiene, and other dental procedures, with particular focus on meeting urgent needs and alleviating pain.
