NextGen Healthcare Unveils Latest Solution for Behavioral Health and Human Services

Building upon the company’s award-winning NextGen Enterprise electronic health record (EHR) and practice management system, the suite is the industry’s first platform to integrate comprehensive physical, behavioral health, human services, and oral health in one software solution.

This latest solution offers an integrated platform that addresses outpatient mental health services, substance use disorders, crisis services, residential treatment services, intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as primary care.

Key new features include:

• Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) – Enables providers to document care for clients with I/DD, including autism. New service plans and notes enable documenting activities of daily living and enhanced summary reporting to show outcomes and improvement over time. New electronic visit verification functionality supports home and community-based services.

• Improved Workflow – Enhancements include program caseload summary and integrated service plans, modern assessments, as well as updated psychiatric advance directive and customization options.

• Residential Content – Offers residential administration, shift notes, and discharge summaries.

• Expanded Reporting Capabilities – Addresses common metrics to help practices improve outcomes and manage reimbursement.
