Dentainment, a dental marketing agency servicing dental practices, has entered into a partnership with Buy Now, Pay Later payment solution. The collaboration will allow dental patients to book appointments and spread out payment for the services.
BNPL offers mini-loans to patients who apply through the service, splitting up their payments over a designated time period, without late fees or penalties but at percentage rate provided upon application. The additional payment option is thought to potentially lead to more patients being able to seek services and new cases for dental practices.
"It was only a matter of time until practices started to offer BNPL options,” said Brad Newman, founder and chief buzz officer at Dentainment. “This will become the standard across the industry, especially fee-for-service focused locations. Sunbit is the obvious choice to implement because of its practice-friendly terms and the quality of their product."
"Dentistry has needed a fresh payment option for patients for a long time,” said Newman. “We feel BNPL through Sunbit will have a profound impact on the overall growth of dentistry for years to come." The company behind BNPL, Sunbit, provides quick decision on applications, and pays the medical prectaice immediately. Any collections for unpaid balances are handled by Sunbit.
"Our solution is designed to bring best-in-breed BNPL technology to dental offices so patients can get the care they need when they need it without worrying about how to pay for it,” said Robert Nunziato, head of inside sales and sales operations at Sunbit. “From the 30-second application process to the incredibly high rates of approval, we're committed to helping both practices and patients win.” About 85% of applicants are approved, according to the company.
