NY oral surgery practices merge

Katherine E. Pfaff

A group of five surgical practice groups across four New York areas – Long Island, Manhattan, Queens, and Westchester – have merged and rebranded. The offices will be known under the name Leading Edge Oral Surgery going forward.

"The rebranding of our practices has been wonderful. We are working more closely with our fellow doctors and their colleagues," said Dr. David Jurman, board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Leading Edge. "It's great to be part of a team of so many talented surgeons with multiple locations across New York that share the same passion for exceptional patient care."

The surgical groups include Suffolk Country’s Long Island Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates, Nassau County’s Premier Care Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and PML Oral and Implant Surgery, Manhattan and Queens counties’ Leading Edge Oral Surgery, and Westchester’s Westchester Oral and Maxillofacial Associates. All inclusive, the merger will bring together 12 offices.

"The joining and rebranding of our offices is exciting news for all of our doctors and practices," says Dr. Joshua Gish, board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Leading Edge Oral Surgery, "By joining together, we will be more efficient with our communications and more accessible to our colleagues and patients across the NY Metro, all while providing the high-quality care that each office is known for."

Under the newly merged format, the transition to a new website and other branding activities are already in-process. Each of the offices had previously partnered with Premier Care Dental Management.
