Spark buys CDM

Business and operational dental support company, Spark Dental Management has acquired all locations of Children’s Dental Management. Details of the sale were not shared, however, the purchase did include Children’s Dental Management total number of locations (35) across three states. Spark receives financial backing from Rock Mountain Capital. 

Spark Orthodontics’ founder, Dr. Jason Hartman, was appointed president of CDM. Michael O’Donnell was made chief executive officer.

This purchase comes after Spark acquired five practices in the last quarter of 2021. Each of the practices were located in various states, amounting to locations across Delaware, Georgia, Indiana, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia.
