Diode laser applications in dentistry: how to improve our clinical daily practice

Laser technology offers many unique patient benefits; moreover, recent studies continue to reveal potential clinical applications. Diode lasers have become a new, increasingly useful tool in conventional dental practice. Thanks to a concise description of common clinical procedures, this mini-course introduces diode laser application to expand our daily practice skills.

·       Graduated with honors in “Dentistry” (B.Dent.Sc) at University of Turin.

·       2008/2009: Master of Science degree with honors (M.Sc.) in “Oral Surgery” at University of Turin.

·       2009/2010: Post-Graduate diploma in “Pediatric Dentistry” at University of Florence

·       2009/2010: Post-Graduate diploma in “Clinical dental treatment in disabled and medically compromised patients”.

·       2011-2014: Specialization in “Oral Surgery” with honour at University of Turin.

·       2018/2019: Master of Science degree with honors (M.Sc.) in Aesthetic Medicine, University of Chieti.

·       2015-2020: Tutor at University of Turin in Oral Surgery Specialization school.

·       2008/2020: Stomatology Consultant in Local Health Department of Torino (ASL TO5).

·       2018/2019 Consultant in Oral Surgery at S. Luigi Gonzaga Hospital Orbassano (TO)

·       2008/2020 Private practice in Moncalieri

·       Active Member of “SIMEO” (Italian Society of Aesthetic Dental Medicine).

·       Active Member and Research coordinator of “International Academy of Laser Aided Odontostomatology (AIOLA)”.

·       He has publications in several national and international journals, conferences and workshops.
