The Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry (IALD), a not-for-profit dental laser research and training company, has opened its doors for a new clinical training center. The center will offer in-person training with patients for the LANAP® and LAPIP™ protocols for the dental laser, PerioLase® MVP-7™.
IALD’s new center will advance the organization’s goal of increasing access and utilizing the treatment for gum disease. IALD was founded in 1999 and has since been recognized by the local community for increasing treatment of periodontitis. IALD donates more than $750,000 annually to local patients in need of treatment for gum disease.
Patients who participate in training receive x-rays, complete exams, LANAP surgery, and year-long follow-up care. The not-for-profit is ADA CERP, and AGD PACE accredited. PerioLase is a product of Millenium Dental Technologies, Inc.
