Grupo Edra actively participate in IDS

More than 850 companies from 46 countries have maintained their decision to be present at the 39th edition of the IDS , which is currently taking place at the Cologne fair (Köelnmesse) from September 22 to 25, and whose organization runs by the Society for the Promotion of the Dental Industry (GFDI), a trading company of the Association of the German Dental Industry (VDDI). A biennial meeting with a strong international character, in which the most represented countries are France, Great Britain, Italy, Korea, Switzerland and the United States.

Regarding the origin of the exhibitors, they are mostly from Brazil, Bulgaria, China, France, Italy, Korea, Russia and the USA Without a doubt, it is one of the most important meetings worldwide for the dental sector, in which Maxillaris and Odontología33 participate together with its parent company  Grupo Edra  with a stand (hall11.2 L041). All the company's magazines and other publications are on display, among which the new book by the famous dentist Marco Veneziani stands out, which will shortly be available in English.

For the president of Grupo Edra , Giorgio Albonetti “it is important to be present at IDS because it is the main European fair in the dental sector. Grupo Edra has begun the internalization of its Dental section through the Maxillaris magazine, with editions in Spain and Portugal, the current news portal Odontología33  in Spain or the opening of Dentistry33 in the United States. The IDS is a unique opportunity to be in contact with dentists from all over the world ”.

What's new?

Another of the main characteristics of this dental meeting is innovation. During the fair hundreds of companies present their new proposals aimed at improving the work of dentists and, consequently, the health of the patient. Novelties such as mouthwashes to reduce the risk of infection by SARS-CoV-2; CAD-CAM devices that guarantee greater efficiency in dental practices; ultra high resolution volumetric tomography systems for endodontics; systems for the automatic production of aligners for laboratories and milling centers or the activation of plasma to improve osseointegration. These are just a sample of the contents that are part of the # IDS2021 program.

On this occasion, IDS has implemented anti-covid controls in all pavilions of the event, in order to protect exhibitors and visitors. In fact, Koelnmesse has created the # B-SAFE4business concept for a safe fair experience.
