Cassia Clayton Receives Langkamp Allison Award


The Langkamp Allison Award recognizes a Pitt Dental Medicine third-year dental student interested in pursuing a career in dental education. 

Cassia Clayton, Class of 2026, has been selected for her passion and commitment to teaching and desire to pursue an academic career and contribute to the greater community.  

Cassia has been recognized for her dedication to the field of education through her experiences in research, leadership roles, volunteer opportunities and general involvement in academic related organizations and roles. She makes dental education prominent in all aspects of her life. She was nominated by two faculty members, in addition to self-nominating, highlighting her passion for and visibility in the field of dental education.  

We look forward to seeing Cassia become a successful dental educator in the future.
