Sinus lift through crestal approach: free course Aug. 9

The crestal approach for sinus lift was always described as proved technique leading to a certain bone regeneration no matter which tool was used. However, new studies have found how this blind approach might lead to relevant sinus complications.

To prevent these clinical problems, it is important to rethink the technical workflow, including computer guided planning, use of dedicated burs and endosinusal elevators, specifically designed graft materials that may be essential to achieve a predictable and standardized bone regeneration.

In this free course, held from noon to 1:30pm Central time on Aug. 9, participants will:

  • Understand maxillary anatomy
  • Learn state of the art for sinus lift
  • Discover the biologic approach to crestal sinus lift
  • Learn about pre- and post-op pharmacology
  • Hear about biologic bases for bone regeneration
  • Understand biologic complications in the traditional approach
  • Learn techniques for sinus mucosa elevation
  • Discover clinical tips to prevent complications after sinus mucosa perforation.

Learn more and register online.

The course is sponsored by Dentsply Sirona and will be taught by Dr. Luigi Canullo.
