3D printing and digital dentistry company, SprintRay Inc., has launched its 3D printer resin which is radio-opaque and improvements to its care solutions. The new resin is for the company’s SprintRay OnX, hybrid dentures held by implants.
New rollouts also include the company’s ProCure 2, which can decrease the wait after curing by 10 times. The device achieves this by increasing the power of its light curing by 25 times. This means that a nightguard can be cured in as little as 3 minutes without preheating, according to SprintRay.
"Leveraging power, speed and AI, SprintRay's Speed to Care ecosystem of innovative 3D printing products is transforming the digital dentistry space. With the new ProCure 2 launched today, dental professionals will be able to compress one week of dental work into one day, delivering a most cost-effective, efficient, and improved chairside experience," said Amir Mansouri, PhD, chief executive officer and co-founder of SprintRay.
OnX is intended to bring flexural strength to full arch restorations with its nanoceramic hybrid 3D resin. The resin combines opacity and translucency for an effect that looks like actual dentition.
