VOCO claims that America’s No. 1-selling 5% sodium fluoride varnish, VOCO Profluorid Varnish, just got better, announcing the launch of Profluorid Varnish + BioMin, featuring BioMin bioglass. This new advanced dual-action formula adds additional calcium and phosphate ion release to the varnish .

BioMin bioglass is an innovative technology developed at Queen Mary University of London, UK, and has been successfully used in bioactive toothpaste for years.

The invisible, flavorless bioglass dissolves in the presence of saliva, releasing calcium and phosphate ions that work synergistically with fluoride to improve the efficiency of the varnish.

Compared to conventional fluoride varnishes, Profluorid Varnish + BioMin® also offers enhanced protection against dentin hypersensitivity.
