Subscription dental company closes $66M financing

Katherine E. Pfaff

Subscription-based digital dental health company, membersy, has garnered $66 million from software and information services firm, Spectrum Equity. The funding will be utilized to aid in building membersy’s service and product portfolio to further modernize its offerings.

"We're preparing to rapidly expand our team, products, and services in response to a fast-growing DSO partner base," said Eric Johnson, founder and chief executive officer of membersy. "When we started in 2015, we knew there was a huge opportunity to make dentistry more approachable by modernizing the way consumers access and pay for dental care services, and we're proud of the impact we've had up until this point. With new funding and an amazing partner in Spectrum Equity, we're positioned to see that impact grow exponentially."

Membersy is a subscription-based dental company that offers to participating dental service organizations the platform-as-a-service and a framework of administrative services, marketing, and technology needed to manage a business. The company has nearly 1 million members in 4,000 practices across 41 states.
