NADG names new CEO

Katherine E. Pfaff

The North American Dental Group has appointed Jonathan Walker as its new chief executive officer, replacing Ken Cooper, who co-founded the organization. Cooper will maintain an advisory role. Co-founder and dentist, Dr. Andrew Matta, will maintain his position as CMO.

"I am extremely grateful for this opportunity to lead one of the best-known and best-run DSOs in the country and to be supported by so many terrific doctor partners and team members," Walker said. "Thanks to Ken's leadership, I am stepping into the CEO role at a great time in the organization's trajectory.  With its unique culture, dentist partner led operating model, and strong reputation for high quality care, NADG is well positioned for continued success. This is an exciting time for our company, and I'm thrilled to lead NADG into a period of sustained growth."

Walker was most recently chief financial officer at NADG. Walker moves into the CEO role as NADG embarks on a strategy to scale up, continue to grow, and expand its patient- and provider-centric philosophy. Walker plans to highlight mental health and other initiatives in the new role.

Founded in 2008, NADG set out to change dental practice to approach care with emotional intelligence, and to continue education. NADG has more than 250 dental practices in its network.
