Wearable warehouse technology company Rufus Labs, and Ivanti Wavelink, a supply chain software division of Ivanti, have struck up a partnership to integrate wearables and applications. The collaboration will allow Telnet integration and Rufus android wearables to use Ivanti's Velocity software to communicate. In addition, Rufus hardware updates will also be available in order to keep wearables up to date.
The collaboration makes it possible to update out-of-date warehouses without replacing current resource planning and management systems. Increased efficiency will also allow for warehouses and supply chains to operate amid the staffing crisis created as a result of COVID-19.
"At Rufus, we're passionate about working with companies that further aid in our overall goal of creating efficient work environments," said the chief executive officer and founder of Rufus Labs, Gabe Grifoni. "Our partnership with Ivanti Wavelink is completely in line with that goal, and we're excited to offer customers a more streamlined integration to already existing Telnet and Web Apps that give our wearable devices even more, functionality and integration."
Rufus' Workhero is productivity as a service (PaaS) subscription platform for wearable technology that works with Ivanti products Velocity and Speakeasy. The partnership reported that a dental device manufacturer's recent use of the combination products led to a 42% increase in pick speed and $900,000 labor cost savings.
