Dr. Paul Feuerstein, a longtime educator, authority on dental technology, and Editor-In-Chief of Dentistry Today, received the Lifetime Dental Innovator Award during the Second Annual Dental VIP Summit, an invitation-only gathering of dental industry leaders, clinicians, and investors focused on the future of oral health innovation.
Presented by Dr. Feuerstein’s long-time colleagues, friends, and collaborators, Dr. Marty Jablow and Dr. John Flucke, the award recognizes Dr. Feuerstein’s decades of work helping dentists understand and adopt emerging technologies that improve clinical care, diagnostic capabilities, and practice workflow.
“Paul’s vision and relentless curiosity have helped shape dental technology we use today and into the future,” said Dr. Jablow. “This Lifetime Achievement Award is a testament to his innovation, leadership, and unwavering commitment to advancing our profession.”
Throughout his career, Dr. Feuerstein has served as a leading voice in dental technology education through his writing, lectures, video interviews, and technology evaluations. His work has helped clinicians navigate the rapid evolution of digital dentistry and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.
“My friendship with Paul extends back over thirty years,” reflected Dr. Flucke. “For the entire time I’ve known him, he’s been ahead of the curve. His knowledge and dedication to the dental tech revolution makes him the standard bearer that the rest of us strive to keep up with.”
In accepting the award, Dr. Feuerstein expressed his appreciation and explained why dental technology still excites him after all these years.
“I am truly humbled to receive this award. My career has been driven by a curiosity about new technology and a desire to share what I learn with colleagues in dentistry. The real reward has always been seeing those ideas translate into better care for patients—both in my own practice and in the practices of dentists who continue to embrace innovation.”
