Pacific Dental and Smile Generation donates more than $7M worth of care

DSO, Pacific Dental Services, working alongside Smile Generation has achieved $7.6 million worth of donated dental services on its annual Smile Generation Serve Day. The donated time amounted to 55,000 hours. 

The day, which was held on August 20, 2022, was the 12th day of donated dental care. The event was held across the nation and provided care to 2,500 underserved patients from clinicians working in PDS-supported facilities. Since the start of the day in 2011, $46.8 million worth of dental care has been donated and 24,000 patients have been treated. 

Smile Generation also partnered this year with Modivcare. The healthcare service company helps connect underserved patients with care and provides transportation to medical care, patient monitoring, meal services, and personal care.
