ADSO names Lisa Ward VP of communications

Lisa Ward, experienced in strategic communications, will take on the role of vice president of communications at the Association of Dental Support Organizations.  Ward was appointed to head internal communications as well as to advocate for DSOs and dental professionals as part of ADSO’s mission. 

Ward has more than 30 years of communications and marketing experience, two decades of which have been within the dental profession. She previously held the role of associate executive director at the North Carolina Dental Society. In addition, she served in executive posts at Delta Dental of Kansas and Capstrat.

"Lisa's dedication to professional and community development is an incredible complement to the ADSO's leadership team," said Emmet Scott, president of the ADSO and co-founder of Community Dental Partners. "Improving access to care in underserved areas is a pillar of the ADSO, and with Lisa's deep knowledge of the issues, we will continue to make a positive impact across the country."

Ward will also levy her experience with policymakers in her new role, where she will also work with lawmakers to craft legislation that supports DSOs and their employees.
