Align Technology's Invisalign Scientific Symposium

Align Technology - a global medical device company that designs, manufactures, and distributes the Invisalign clear aligner system, iTero intraoral scanners, and exocad CAD / CAM software for digital orthodontics and restorative dentistry - has announced that its Invisalign Scientific Symposium, held on 2 and 3 July 2021, was attended by over 1200 orthodontists and staff members from over 60 countries.

The congress focused on the most recent scientific and technological insights into the Invisalign system. It was conveyed in English, Italian, German, French, Spanish, Russian, and Turkish to satisfy the continuing interest in digital orthodontic treatment with transparent Invisalign aligners from a wide range of markets worldwide.

The various speakers were invited to speak on the effectiveness and efficiency of the Invisalign system, particularly regarding the predictability, adequacy, and stability of the treatment. The interventions also examined the various and numerous approaches to treatment with Invisalign clear aligners, interdisciplinary approaches, and auxiliary techniques.

Over the two days, participants were able to see how the predictability and efficiency of the treatment have been enhanced by the latest innovations provided by the Align Digital Platform, which combines Align's proprietary technologies and services - Invisalign treatment, systems of iTero scanner, and exocad CAD / CAM software - in a single platform that enables a seamless digital connection between orthodontists, their patients, and laboratories.

First level doctors gave the main conferences of the Invisalign Scientific Symposium, including Prof. Juan Carlos Rivero Lesmes (Spain), who presented "Efficiency with biomechanics and Invisalign transparent aligners," while the quality of life of patients was the focus of the intervention of Dr. Meiya Gao (China), among the first to adopt the Invisalign treatment for their patients and who conducted studies to evaluate and compare the quality of life-related to oral health in patients undergoing treatment with transparent aligners and other orthodontic solutions.
