Mark A. Dellinges, DDS, FACP, a longtime member of the UCSF School of Dentistry community, passed away on Friday, April 26. He was 73 years old.

Dr. Dellinges had a profound connection with UCSF School of Dentistry, having been an alumnus of the school (Class of 1981) and a distinguished graduate of the UCSF Prosthodontics Certificate Program (1987).

His 32-year career at UCSF includes serving as a clinical professor in the Department of Preventative and Restorative Sciences (PRDS) and division chair of pre-clinical simulation.

Dr. Dellinges was recognized with numerous awards over the years, including the UCSF Dental Alumni Association’s Medal of Honor, the Dental Alumni Presidents Award, and the Excellence in Academics Award from the John Greene Society.

His commitment to education is exemplified by his extensive professional development over the past decade.
