Association of dental editors, journalists annual meeting

The American Association of Dental Editors and Journalists (AADEJ) will host its annual meeting in Orlando a few days prior to the ADA’s SmileCon. More specifically, the event takes place at the Hyatt Regency Orlando Oct. 4-5. 

Founded in 1931, AADEJ aims to improve communication within the dental profession and elevate the standards of dental journalism. Ann Marie Gothard, vice president of global corporate media relations at Henry Schein, Inc., serves as the association's president. 

Sessions will include:

• AI and Dentistry: Where We’ve Been, Where We Are, and Where We’re Going
• From Movable Type to ChatGPT – How Artificial Intelligence Fits Among a History of Disruptive Media Technologies
• A Survey of Intellectual Property - The Protection of Ideas and Original Work
• Tips for Writing an Editorial and other Scary Things and
• ADA Leadership Update and Q&A
