The 2023 Dental Festival will be held in New Orleans and will include a Dental Pitch session on the first day (Aug. 24), Esthetics seminar on Aug. 25 and Dentistry's Got Talent, billed as a TED Talk-style speaking competition. On August 25, the festival will also feature a full day on the latest research and development in orthodontic treatment, photography and best practices for patient care.
Founded by Elijah Desmond, a motivational speaker and dental marketing leader, the Dental Festival will also cover OSHA training, oral cancer screening and dental materials. Desmond is also the founder of Smiles at Sea, a dental cruise and learning event that takes place every year in the months of April and September.
