SMILEFEST – Molen Orthodontics hosts free community carnival

In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Molen Orthodontics is hosting a free community carnival Sept. 17 to thank the community, patients

Molen Orthodontics will host SMILEFEST 2022 on Saturday, Sept. 17, in Sumner, Washington, to celebrate its 50th anniversary milestone with patients and local community members.

The practice — with multiple offices in Washington state — will provide free hotdogs, cotton candy and ice cream, among other treats. Molen has partnered with a local food bank and encourages attendees to bring a canned or non-perishable food item to help others in the community. 

“It has always been a priority to give back to the community that has given us so much,” said Dr. Rick Molen, when asked why hosting this type of an event was important to him and his team. Molen Orthodontics sponsors youth organizations and has also invited local youth sports teams and schools to lend a hand at SMILEFEST.

In addition to treats, SMILEFEST 2022 will feature inflatable bounce houses, a giant obstacle course, pony and train rides, a DJ, face painting, and endless carnival games.

SMILEFEST takes place from 11 am to 4 pm on Sept. 17 at Molen Orthodontics, located at 16209 64th Street E in Sumner, Washington.
