World Dental Congress meeting moves online

Author: Katherine Pfaff

The international meeting, World Dental Congress, has decided to go completely virtual. A joint meeting of the FDI World Dental Federation and the Australian Dental Association will be held September 26-29, 2021, from the International Convention Centre in Sydney, Australia. The 2020 meeting, planned for Shanghai, China, was canceled due to the pandemic.
One platform will bring together more than 200 continuing education sessions, business meetings, exhibitor presentations and product demonstrations, and general assembly events. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and become involved in events virtually. Attendees can view sessions that will be live-streamed and recorded and available on-demand for two months following the meeting.

Abstracts must be submitted by April 15; abstracts and posters should be in categories including preventive and general dentistry, restorative dentistry, oral surgery, cancer, and medicine.
