uLab Systems and SG Management LLC ink supply agreement

Author: Katherine Pfaff

The maker of uSmile™ Clear Aligner System, uLab Systems, has joined orthodontic service organization SG Management LLC for a supply agreement. The agreement makes uLab the preferred provider of clear aligners to SG, and will allow orthodontists to 3-D print their aligners in their offices.

The venture is expected to speed the orthodontist’s work by bringing the process within their practice rather than communicating with a remote counterpart. uLab’s platform integrates AI to help in treatment planning and allows flexibility with aligners and brackets and packaging with orthodontist-specific branding. Aligners created at uLabs can be shipped within 10 days.
