Practice management software company, Cloud 9 Software has acquired customer experience management (CXM) software firm, ToothFairy LP. The purchase will allow customers at Cloud 9 to have access to ToothFairy’s CXM platform, which is aimed to increase the uptake and understanding of learning for treatment coordination, reduce the number of sales opportunities which are lost, and increase the speed of sales.
"We are thrilled to complete our partnership with Cloud 9, a company that shares our commitment to providing customers with the modern solutions they need to help improve their competitive advantage, accelerate sales velocity, and better serve patients, thus enabling them to retain existing customers for generations to come and win new ones—sooner,” said Trude Henderson, founder of ToothFairy. As part of the acquisition, Henderson has taken on the role of director, practice growth strategy at Cloud 9.
ToothFairy’s software for the orthodontic field utilizes personal insights from would-be customers and uses learnings from other industries to maximize sales. The company purports to help orthodontists to avoid losing patients to competitors, attracting and keeping staff as well as motivating them, bringing in new patients, and avoiding potential patients “falling through the cracks.”
"The acquisition of ToothFairy represents Cloud 9's ongoing commitment to being the strategic platform of choice for practice growth and optimization,” said Mike Ressel, chief executive officer of Cloud 9 Software. “Enabling more starts and retaining talented staff have never been more critical to our customers' success. We are delighted to extend ToothFairy's game-changing capabilities to our valued customers."
