The collaboration is designed to strengthen cybersecurity protections for practices using Dentrix and Dentrix Ascend practice management systems while helping safeguard patient data and maintain business continuity.
Black Talon Security has announced a strategic reseller agreement with Henry Schein One’s TechCentral to bring its EAGLEi cybersecurity platform to dental practices across the United States. The collaboration is designed to strengthen cybersecurity protections for practices using Dentrix and Dentrix Ascend practice management systems while helping safeguard patient data and maintain business continuity.
The partnership combines TechCentral’s dental IT infrastructure expertise with Black Talon’s cybersecurity platform, creating an integrated solution that provides continuous monitoring and protection against evolving cyber threats, including ransomware, phishing, and AI-driven attacks. The companies said the offering is intended to complement existing IT services by adding a dedicated layer of cybersecurity tailored to the unique needs of dental practices.
According to Black Talon, EAGLEi replaces periodic security assessments with continuous cyber readiness. The platform includes 24/7 threat monitoring through a Security Operations Center, automated vulnerability management, daily firewall testing, biannual penetration testing, dental-specific cybersecurity awareness training, and cyber risk reporting designed to help practices monitor and improve their security posture.
Gary Salman, CEO of Black Talon Security, said the partnership expands access to enterprise-grade cybersecurity for dental practices while recognizing that strong IT operations and dedicated cybersecurity must work together to defend against modern threats.
Alan Rencher, chief technology officer at Henry Schein One, said the collaboration gives TechCentral customers access to more advanced threat detection, monitoring, and response capabilities than traditional IT tools alone, helping practices better protect patient information and reduce the risk of cyberattacks.
The companies also said the platform provides centralized security reporting for multi-location organizations, allowing leadership teams to better manage cybersecurity risks while reducing technology complexity.
EAGLEi will be available to dental organizations using Dentrix or Dentrix Ascend with an active TechCentral Care or Omnicore subscription. Practices interested in evaluating their cybersecurity readiness can contact TechCentral to schedule a Cyber Readiness Review.
