Delta Dental survey report finds oral health important to Americans

Delta Dental Plans Association has shared its 2020 report on the public’s oral health attitudes and practices. The findings from the “2020 State of America’s Oral Health Report” bring together responses from two surveys of more than 2,000 US adults. 

According to respondents, 74% saw a dentist despite COVID-19 concerns, and 90% of US adults felt oral healthcare was essential during the pandemic. 94% of parents also thought managing their children’s oral health was important during the same time period. The surveys were conducted between December 2020 and January 2021 and asked adults about their own care and their children’s oral care.
