DSO plans for more than 50 offices in 2022

Katherine E. Pfaff

Dental Service organization, Simply Beautiful Smiles, has now passed 40 new locations on its way to meet its goal of more than 50 in 2022. The growth amounts to more than a doubling of the company’s offices across the past 2 years. The company was also named to Becker’s Dental + DSO Review’s Top DSOs to Watch in 2022 list.

“Simply Beautiful Smiles believes in elevating the dentistry experience for both patients and practitioners through an approach that is patient-centric, doctor-focused and staff-driven,” said Tim North, chief executive officer and president of Simply Beautiful Smiles. “Our aggressive growth trajectory is matched only by our practitioners' vision to deliver high quality dental health services through relatable and easily accessible services in their home communities.”

Through working with top notch clinical professionals and in selected markets on the east coast, the company has grown from its initial Philadelphia area beginnings to Virginia and locations in upstate New York.  Simply Beautiful Smiles now has locations across five states, including Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The most recent acquisitions have been in Maryland.

"Patients looking for a dental service provider focused on their overall health needs will find a wonderful experience for their families with Simply Beautiful Smiles,” said North. “And doctors who share that philosophy who are looking to join a network of likeminded colleagues can find a home here as well.”

Along with its growth, the DSO has also invested in technology, expanded the capability of its laboratories, consolidated operations on the back end, and has offered an array of accepted insurance and payment options. For its staffs, the DSO has worked to enhance opportunities for doctors and dental professionals through mentoring and incentive programs for employees.
