The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) Program Approval for Continuing Education (PACE) Council recently approved Edra Publishing U.S., LLC, as a continuing education dental provider effective Jan. 1, 2023.
AGD’s Program Approval for Continuing Education promotes constant improvements in continuing education and makes finding continuing education easy. The PACE program is based on 13 rigorous standards for identifying high-quality educational organizations.
Edra Publishing U.S., founded in January 2020, is part of EDRA - LSWR Group, a multinational company based in Milan, Italy focused on evolving knowledge in medical and legal communities. The aim of Edra is to envision and support new solutions for the future of healthcare.
“As a company committed to the dental industry around the world, we look forward to increasing the knowledge of dentists and their dental teams with this approval from the PACE Council,” said Tommaso Albonetti, general manager at Edra Publishing U.S.
Edra supports clinicians and providers in delivering value in healthcare and markets its products and solutions around the world. With over 700 skilled professionals, Edra operates through its offices in 10 countries, including Italy, Spain, Portugal, Albania, Poland, France, Germany, Canada, U.S. and Mexico.
The AGD PACE Program approves continuing dental education (CDE) organizations, not speakers or individual course content. Eligible organizations must offer a planned program of continuing dental education activities, have a permanent base in the U.S., Canada or their territories and must ensure that all courses offered for continuing education credit have a sound scientific basis to adequately protect the public.
The approval period for Edra Publishing U.S. from AGD’s PACE Council extends from Jan. 1, 2023 to Dec. 31, 2024.
