Dental x-ray market to grow over next 5 years

Katherine E. Pfaff

Market research analysts, ResearchAndMarkets.com, forecasts growth for the dental x-ray market, according to its new report that spans 2021 to 2026. The market had grown at a rate of 6% CAGR in 2015 to 2020, leading up the forecast period.

As a diagnostic or detection aid for dental disease, tumors, infection, or developmental abnormalities, the dental x-ray market is expected to continue to do well. Dental x-rays can also help in planning for dentures, implants, or braces.

Adding to its ubiquitous use, the dental x-ray market is expected to see an uptick based on the increasing numbers of patients with dental disease. Rates of diabetes and stress also play a part in higher rates of dental disorders.

Oral care is also more recognized as important in overall health, leading to increased screenings and treatments.
