Apex Dental Partners appoints Andrea Kowalczyk as director of dental hygiene

Apex Dental Partners announced in a Feb. 15 news release that Andrea Kowalczyk, RDH, has joined the company as director of dental hygiene.

Matt Hale, president of Apex, said in the release that Kowalczyk will be focused on helping hygienists grow as clinicians and leaders in order to enjoy an even more rewarding career. Kowalczyk has been in the dental industry for over 25 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, postgraduate certification in dental hygiene mentoring, and is certified in talent acquisition management. She is also a dental hygiene career mentor with the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA).

Kowalczyk has been widely published, with articles featured in RDH Magazine, Modern Hygienist, Dentistry IQ and more. Prior to joining Apex, Kowalczyk served in various hygiene mentorship and practice recruiting roles within the industry.

In the news release, she said that she is passionate about recognizing and empowering hygienists to enjoy careers that fit their values.
